While things looked pretty negative for Super Earth’s chance of winning through securing enough Illuminate attacks, the squids have released a plethora of them. This means players have a slim chance at winning if only they are calm and do not worry about the enemy’s newly presented map.
What MO is the need to?
The most notable aspect of this new MO is the need to make use of the recently upgraded Democracy Space Station to assist in defending against 14 attacks from Helldivers 2’s latest adversary. It’s quite a number and even with J.O.E.L. having deployed certain weather conditions, that actually has helped to secure a planet that caused the wedge between two distinct types of players It’s been a long uphill.
There are certain players who are suggesting that with just one day remaining in the game and just nine of the 14 attacks blocked, Arrowhead’s game master may have been playing the same game again. The Illuminate have been deploying an array of additional attacks across different planets in such large numbers that they’re now being registered as having control over several regions in the southern portion of the map.
Naturally, the initial reaction from some people was to be frightened, and the title posts included topics like “What’s going on IN THE SQUIDS FRONT and ‘WHAT THE STUFF HAPPENED! THEY BARELY HAD A PLANET NOW THEY HAVE 4 SECTORS!! “, all caps, which means you can tell they’re really freaking out.

Apart from the normal roleplaying—the most popular reply for one post is “Their autocratic intentions remain shrouded in mystery,” which seems to suggest it’s the new favorite of divers copypasta. A number of participants have come to the conclusion that this sudden increase in attacks could be a gift from the Galactic War’s god.
“This is Joel frantically trying to tow the community across the MO finish line before the deadline hits,” user Jack_VZ suggested. “All of those attacks are just level 3, the lowest I’ve ever seen. We don’t deserve Joel.” Although that’s a great idea, however, it’s likely to not work if this is the case. This is because, as I said, players are currently facing five attacks left to be stopped and have just under two hours left to finish them.
This leaves the alternative school of thought you get from MOs. Are we supposed to be losing this one? Many believe that way, and this tinkering of the ante Arrowhead in the process of preparing for the next phase in this Illuminate invasion.
Who’s right? We’ll have to be patient and wait to watch.
